Policies

Terms & conditions

The important notes that apply to every VRN Construction project. Please read them before work begins — they keep communication clear and the project running smoothly.

No discounts once work has begun

This means that any negotiations or requests for discounts should be finalized and agreed upon before the construction work starts. Once the project is underway, no further discounts will be considered.

Cancellation of tasks may incur penalty fees

If the client decides to cancel some of the tasks or services after the work has already begun, they may be subject to penalty fees, because the total price will be a bundle price.

Contact the main contractor for any inquiries

The client should always communicate with the main contractor and not directly with other employees or subcontractors, such as plumbers or electricians. Additionally, they should not request any additional work from these individuals without the contractor's permission, if we receive any information about any type of communication for additional job, phone numbers exchanging, asking their hourly rate or payments info, the project will stop immediately, a penalty fee of %50 of total project amount will be charged to the costumer and the employe will lose his job immediately.

Timely payment is crucial

The client must ensure that payment is ready on the agreed-upon dates. The final payment should be made before we leave the jobsite in the last day of work. If the payment is delayed, the completion of the project may also be delayed.

Exclusive work area for the contractor

While the construction team is working on the project, there should be no other contractors operating in the same area or nearby simultaneously, if you have a family member who will do some plumbing or electrical jobs etc... after him, we are not responsible for doing any finishings, not even installing screws or cleaning or communicating with him, also he can't work in the same hours with us in the same house or place.

Communication with the homeowner only

Any discussions, ideas, or decisions related to the project should be communicated with the homeowner and not with external parties.

Payment schedule

The payment should be divided into installments. Typically, 30% of the total amount is paid on the first day of the work, and the remaining 70% is divided into three parts to be paid until the last day of work. A final payment should be made at the finishing stage before we leave the working place. (last day)

Estimation clarification

If the estimation only includes labor costs, it means that no materials are included unless specified in the estimate.

Noisy working area

Absolutely, working in a noisy environment, especially during demolition or construction, can be extremely challenging and disruptive, particularly if you're working from home or need to attend virtual meetings. The noise can interfere with your ability to concentrate, communicate effectively, and be productive.

Certified plumbing & electrical materials

When purchasing plumbing or electrical materials, it's essential to ensure they are certified to meet the national standards, such as the Canadian Plumbing Code (CPC) and Canadian Electrical Code (CEC). Products with certifications like CSA (Canadian Standards Association) or UL (Underwriters Laboratories) marks are usually accepted as compliant with the Canadian codes.

Buying products that are not confirmed by the appropriate national standards may pose safety risks and may not be covered by insurance and not guaranteed by our plumber/electricien in case of accidents or damages. Therefore, it's essential to buy from reputable sources, like physical stores,(renot depot, home depot, rona etc..) and verify the certifications or compliance of the materials before making a purchase.

Issues with any worker

it's important to contact the general contractor directly if there are any issues with the helpers, plumber, electrician, laborer, or any other workers. This will help streamline communication and ensure that any concerns or problems are addressed appropriately. Directly communicating with the general contractor can also help prevent misunderstandings and ensure a smoother resolution process.

Payment for materials

if we assist in purchasing the materials for the project, the payment for the materials should be made immediately on the same day they are delivered. This approach ensures that the financial aspect of the project is promptly taken care of and helps maintain transparency and accountability between all parties involved. It's a fair practice to honor the agreement by settling the material costs promptly upon their arrival. (if the material is not include in the project and we are buying it for you)

Free service after the job

after completing the job, we provide one free service for all finishing work within a one-month timeline. However, for electric and plumbing work, the free service period is extended to 2 years.

Important notes for Painting

If the clinet buys the paints its very important to write on each gallon(not by explaining) it's for where (ceiling-wall-door-etc…)

We will do only two cotes and any touch ups bcs of low paint quality or wrong color or wrong shiny or matt problem, will be charged extra

If the contractor buys the paints, we will paint only two cotes and if the client doesn't like the color or the shine or matt, to do another cote will be extra for any reason….

So on both cases i suggest to take time and choose the good quality paint even try it at home on the wall before we paint…

Thanks!

These guidelines are put in place to ensure smooth communication, timely payments, and clarity on what is expected from both parties during the construction or renovation project. If you are the homeowner or the contractor, it's essential to follow these guidelines to ensure a successful and satisfactory outcome for both sides.
